« on: 13 September, 2019, 11:17:25 PM »

Careful, the rh mirror on my CB was a lh thread (IIRC).

No, the only note I've got written up is it was a 14mm (a/f) lock nut - but that isn't a guide as there are often 'incorrect' form heads used.
Only do it right - no bodging please.   Keeper of the failed stator list.   John.

What are these handlebar holes you speak of?

Do you mean the bar ends where the bar end weights should be fitted?

If you do mean the bar ends they're M6 x 50mm countersunk black machine screws. Note without the bar end weight they'd need to be about 20mm shorter and you may experience some handle bar oscillation.

The mirror mounting holes in the lever mounts
are fine thread metric 10mm with a 1.25 pitch

Hi ,Ianrobbo. Just wondering that if you get mirrors into the holes you mention whether they would" muller" the reservoirs in the event of a decent clout? Ed.

I'm afraid I don't know, I intend using the holes to mount something other than mirrors on them, I'm sure that others have used them for mirrors though.  :155:
