Hi Rev Ken -  I know it's probably just a one off bad tyre and as you say I was unlucky at the time but on reflection looking back I will never be back to that company again. The way they carried on and mucked me about was terrible and none of my friends will be back either so they have lost quite a bit of business from poor customer service.
As for the michelins can't see me trying them again will just stick to the Bridgestones  :028:

Hi all went and took my cbf for its M O T last Friday, and the tester pulled me to one side and told me that the front and rear tyres are bouncing on the rollers and your front and rear tyres as got uneven wear on  both tyres, tyres were 36 front and 42 rear the road 5s only done 3500 miles. so took my bike in to the suppler  they are sending them back for testing, so in the mean time im on Michelin pilot power 2, had to pay £200 so i hope i get reimbursed for the PR 5s .good tyres when i first got them but not fit for purpose now. :151:

That's a first for me. I'm surprised as Michelin are recognised as having high quality standards. I certainly haven't had problems with the MOT with my '5's. It will be interested to see the results. (I wonder of they were seated correctly on the wheel rims?)
