Last October 2018, I got a very good offer of a BMW R1200RT  which I had ridden behind on many occasions, as it was owned by a friend.
I actually spotted it on Gumtree and recognised his house.  He was not sore on all on me at all price wise.  This year I done about 5000 miles on it and 70 on the biffer.
The biffer now seems so light in comparison but I do like the RT.

I don't know what to do in the future, whether to keep the RT, go for the GS, or something else.
I've had a CBF 1000 since 2008 and the one I've just sold since 30/12/2010, flying to Heathrow on the 12/1/2011 to collect her from Dobles
in London. It was a very wet run home via Liverpool to Belfast.

After that I'd only been on a bike for the first since 2006, and in 2018 qualified as an advanced rider with IAM.  Great training which
has improved me a lot. For the past 5 years I've done the Irish Photo Rally which takes you all over Ireland, maybe someone should
start an English Scottish and Welsh version, its great.

So it s goodbye to the CBF for now, but who knows?

Biffer is a great all-rounder but the RT is much more capable for touring.
