Marvelous after dropping the bike, the girlfriend rode it home, it started here no problem, now the damn thing won't start at all, it turns over but simply won't catch, any ideas, it's been stood a day or so on the side stand with the key in the ignition, and since on it's main stand, has anyone got any constructive ideas please, It's a MK1 on an 07 plate, I've tried the spare key just in case, though I do suspect the HISS may have a hand in it,
I'm at a loss with the thing at the moment!!😞

I know it started first time, but you might want to try the flooded bike procedure.

If its cranking (turning over) but not starting then its not the HISS system, the HISS System would prevent cranking. Does the fuel pump pressurise the fuel system? Does the engine light come on and go off after a few seconds? With the side stand down and ignition on does the engine light flash? If the fuel system proves OK troubleshoot the Ignition System.

Troubleshooting guides are in sections 6 and 19 of the workshop manual downloadable from https://bob.ollis-brown.co.uk/manuals/cbf1000/

Has the angle sensor been dislodged inside the fairing?

Nope, same again, bank sensor should prevent fuel relay operating so no fuel pump, no starter.
