CBF 600 P38 seat vs CBF1000 SC58 seat
« on: 15 June, 2019, 08:41:45 AM »
Fellow CBF-ers. Straight up I'm just asking a question in the 1000 forum since I'm a CBF600'er so hopefully no one will flame me. I'm looking to buy a seat to refurbish a little with storage etc later and found a used one for CBF1000 SC58 that I *think* should fit on my CBF600 P38 2006. I searched the original parts catalogue and the model number on the seats is almost identical except for the model letters.

Long story short, has anyone interchanged these seats on the models? They *look* the same and I know Honda changed something in the 2008 - but if this is the same model year I figured it should be okay?

Again, appreciate anyone shouting out if they've done this or know more than original parts lore.

I’ve got a MK2 1000 and my wife rides a CBF600SA. The pillion seats have the same number, but not the riders.

Never tried to interchange them, so not too much help I suppose. :027:  :028:
