So tried all three of the old sky box's I have in the loft none of them will allow a new channel addition :003:
    Greenfingers....
I have read your interesting thread    on the AV Forum /Humax pages  did you ever get any joy in trying a manual channel input on your box or abandoned it as a pain in the butt?

    Hi Edger,
Yes I struggled with the Humax box settings for ages. I'm not too clever with new tech, but did eventually manage to get the tuner into non Freesat mode and it did then find most of the German channels - except for Servus TV! Lost count of all the bloody search parameters I tried, but in the end gave up on trying to record satellite channels.
Luckily, I found a sumptuous used VT65" Panasonic plasma TV on eBay, so can at least watch MotoGP live in full glory. If you're out of options and can get to Oxfordshire, my old 50" Panny would give you Servus TV in 1080 HD.
