doggy side stand
« on: 19 January, 2019, 07:33:20 PM »
Hello everyone
New member with a new bike, a 2006 cb1000. I received my bike yesterday, and I am really looking forward to starting using it...... on inspection, I have realised that the side stand sits underneath the footrest and the little arm with the round end sits under it making impossible to push the stand down without lifting the footrest (bit odd to me) I can imagine it is probably bent. Can someone link me to a photo of how should it look so I can, either bent it back to the original position or replace it, please? I am looking for a side pic or one from the sitting position downwards so I can compare.

Many thanks in advance

Marcos

 :0461:

Should be in line with the gear selector pivot point, parallel to footrest.

Yeah, many thanks. I will take it off, hear it and bend it as necessary.
