How do I check if the bike I have "Rescued" from a field is a UK model
It has no plates but clear Vin engine and frame numbers and despite asking  DVLA are no help at all.
(Apply for a log book they say) BUT I ONLY WANT A BIT OF HISTORY at the moment!!!

Honda UK or a dealer could help.

An authorised dealer will be able to tell from the VIN and Frame numbers. Worth a trip to the nearest big dealer.

There was a small cost involved , along with a lot of swearing  pushing and pulling stinging nettles  and seized on brakes
But I didn't want to leave her rotting away,  finding parts may be challenging its a project for the winter months (so that will be a JUNE finishing date then) :mfrlol:

You don’t say what type of bike it is.  :084:

If it was ‘dumped’ in the field, then it may have been stolen. A stolen bike remains a stolen bike, no matter how old it is.  :028:

A call to the cops should reveal whether it's stolen or not. They won't reveal much other information to you though.

NO you have the wrong idea its not stolen but a abandoned project ,
I know its near history of at least four years.
just not its life since 1080.
