Great vids and great trip. I've done the Stelvio twice but it was raining heavily both times! Can't beat the mountains for great rides though, we love Austria.

I made a similar tour in September, but didn't go so far north.
Mine was really trying to take in the Black Forest B500, The Dolomites and the Deutsche Alpenstrasse.
Lucky with the weather as I only had about an hours rain on the entire tour.
I have to say, the Dolomites offer the most spectacular views in Europe, although many may disagree.
I loaded the pics on FB on the 'UK Bikers Touring in Europe' page if anyone's interested (just prefix mike.hedger.7/posts/10209916102298478 with https://www.facebook.com/ in the URL - no spaces between the two parts).

I recommend the attached route through the Dolomites to see the most of what's there.
It's built on a series of loops that minimises the amount of duplicate route coverage, but takes in the majority of the best passes on offer.
It begins in the west (having negotiated the Stelvio) and eventually heads north to Innsbruck.
It also takes a couple of days, so there're campsites along the way.
Rates are really low in September as it's just gone out of season.

Yes, thanks for that route round the Dolomites Mike.  :460:
I'm off to Greece in June and might just take a couple of days on the way back to sample some of those delights. That is if my rear end isn't too sore from all the miles.
