Rear wheel dust seal dimensions?
« on: 12 November, 2018, 08:14:06 AM »
Hi all, I have to replace the rear wheel bearings and seals over the next few days as one bearing has some movement, i have identified the part numbers of teh bears i need from a service manual but it doesnt give dimensions of the dust seals. Does anyone know what they are please? The 6303UU bearing on the R/H side for example is 47mmx17mm OD/ID so I know the seals inner and outer size, but without pulling it off the bike I dont know the seal width?

I dont have a Honda dealer close but I do have access to a quality bearing trader thankfully, so if I can get the 2 x seal widths I will be in business :001: :001: :046:

Thanks, POD

According to honda parts list
the rh seal disc side is 30-47-7.5
lh seal chain side is 30-56-7.5
The inside dia is different to the bearing
as the seals run on a spacer not the wheel spindle
