Hello from Canada
« on: 18 October, 2018, 12:53:44 AM »
Hello all, new member from Ontario Canada About to retire and just picked up a 2009 1000a, and looking forward to some serious travelling.
Where can I find a link to a factory service manual?
if its not broke, don't fix it.

Welcome, from Kitchener!

Sorry, can't help you with the factory service manual, but I'm sure someone here can find a link or send you an email about it.
Old enough to have seen it all, heard it all, done it all. Just can't remember it all.

The Honda 'official' name for the document is 'Workshop' Manual, but many others also call it the 'Service' manual.

For the CBF1000A (twin exhaust bike, what's known on this forum as the 'Mk1') it's currently (still) also available as individual sections here...

Absolutely. I just loved the quote " the minimal research he had done suggested that the name Ford Prefect would be suitably innocuous" or something like that. I'm a huge fan, bought the CD's book, towel etc...Even now, if I have a long trip ahead I'll pop on one of the CDs and zone out. A great way to cover big distance!
