part exchange
« on: 29 March, 2019, 01:04:19 PM »
About to swap my CBF1000FA for something a bit lighter ,newer , and without a fairing and screen to hopefully ride in 'cleaner' air - a 2018 low mileage Honda CBF650F .As usual I am not sure I am doing the right thing but any comments appreciated.
ps I am not getting any younger and don't really need a 1000cc bike , the CB650F on a test ride seemed to have enough 'poke'  for me.

My first bike was a CB650, though that was so long ago it was pretty much considered "vintage."

I can't speak for the newer models, but mine had that inline 4 which was basically bullet-proof. Attached is a pic. If you look closely you can see a brontosaurus in the background, it was so long ago...

Old enough to have seen it all, heard it all, done it all. Just can't remember it all.
