Hi John, welcome to the forum, I joined the forum not long ago but it is a great read and lots of info can be picked up!
Tell us more about your previous bikes and why CBF1000 this time? How do you like it so far?

Did you look into Fazer 1000? I fancied one but never found one close enough to look at it!
I had Yamaha Thundercat before CBF1000 which I bought about 6 weeks ago, I didn't have chance to go for a long ride yet (done about 40miles so far) as I had to change tyres and battery died too but it's good now, I am still adjusting though, 600 is different to CBF1000!
One more thing, you have to add pictures of your new toy (CBF I mean!) :)

I didn't know you should add a pic of your bike as a new member. I know it's belated so I will try add one now.

Hi John, what is your normal engine revs (idling) on a Honda? I have about 1100-1200rpm when the engine is warm, I think m Yamaha had these much lower.
What is the maker of these cans/exhaust you have on picture?
Cheers
Vlady
