I have been going to Olivers Mount racing for years but now think think the entry price has become a bit too expensive?
£35 or £40 on Sundays, plus programme probably £5. Does anybody else share this view or am I losing touch ?

Is it a full day out?

I pay £30 for a seat watching Championship Rugby (2nd tier rugby) and that’s only a couple of hours in the ground. Plus £4 a pint........ :005:

£70 a ticket to watch a 2 hour show in Bristol........and the list goes on.

Everything is bloody expensive now. :028:

Yes, it is a full day with practice in the morning and racing all afternoon.
But racing at Croft or Cadwell Park is only about £11.

Unfortunately there is no racing at all now at Olivers Mount unless they can satisfy the safety requirements (whatever they are)
A road circuit like OM can never be made as safe as a proper race track. Who knows what will happen.
Don't know if the people who paid in advance for their tickets for the last meeting that was cancelled got their money back from Auto 66 Club.
