Grab Handles
« on: 20 February, 2018, 05:57:13 PM »
I've just bought my first Cbf 1000 and it came with a full touring pack including top box and panniers however when I'm not touring, I intend to take the rack off and fit grab handles for my pillion.
My bike is a 2012 Cbf 1000 FA GT ........ will grab handles off a Mk 1 as well as a Mk 2 fit?
Cheers everyone

The top box rack is designed to use as grab handles.

When not touring I never leave the luggage on, but I wouldn’t want to keep faffing about taking the racks off.  :028:

I think https://www.cbf1000.com/index.php/topic,14840.msg183098.html#msg183098 (Mike's reply #1) may be key; in my mind that makes them not interchangable (if they are not secure).
But Richard, have you still both? Care to try them (or do have you a TB rack installalled on both).

Yes, if you like top boxes, leave the rack (has other uses) in situ and use the rack rails for handles.
