I've finally decided on my late Summer 2018 Eurotour destination.
This will be a 14-day tour, commencing early Monday September 3rd from the hole in the ground near Folkestone.
The tour will take in most of the Deutsche Alpenstraße, pretty much every place of note on this website:
http://alpineroads.com/dolomites.php#sopraand the Stelvio Pass thrown in for good measure.
The route will avoid toll roads where possible and although it passes through Northern Switzerland, I've been careful to avoid using their motorway system, so a vignette should not be necessary (NB: probably need one for Austria though)
Tour distance is approx 3700km which equates to about 56hrs in the saddle. I'll be camping all the way unless conditions dictate otherwise.
Here's a detailed overview
https://www.myrouteapp.com/en/social/track/108258?mode=shareThere'll be a few long days as well as a few short ones, but every day will present plenty of opportunities for comfort breaks, Kodak moments and fuel stops.
If anyone wants to tag along, you're more than welcome.

As usual, I'm taking no responsibility for you beyond helping if I can, should you need assistance. This is not an organised tour. We'll just happen to be riding the same roads at the same time.
