For me a Palmer bracket made all the difference. It's much, much better and quiet.

Slawcbf just a question I have fitted a Mra screen which reduces the buffeting but not the low frequency wing noise. Do you suffer from this with the Palmer bracket fitted?

I did suffer from the low frequency wind noise before, but with the bracket it's got pretty quiet. Some wind noise, but nothing major. Prior to installing my bracket the noise(with mra screen) was deafening.  Imagine a hoover hose being stuck to your ear and the hoover obviously on :005: .

Thanks for information. I've been clutching at straws throwing lots of money at trying to retain some semblance of hearing for some time - guess I'll order a fixing kit and use it with the Mra screen. What's another £100 when compared with buying another bike or a hearing aid....  I'll report back

Ear plugs far cheaper and even the cheapest yellow/orange ones that you buy by the bag for a few squids work amazingly well.
