Does anyone use a Stormex cover ? If so what size have you got and does it cover the bike to the ground.

Not interested in other model/makes.

I have an Oxford large (no idea which) and it covers the bike completely a single hook on elastic grips it. I sprayed a black circle where the headlight is for ease of quick fitting

I know you don't want anything else but others may do and these are on sale this week at Aldi  https://www.aldi.co.uk/crane-motorbike-cover/p/054096030677100

I used them on our bikes before they were parked undercover. Best covers we ever had, however we also used a cheap indoor cover under it. That helped cut down on any moisture build up.  :028:

We usually take a couple of cheap covers when touring.........helps keep prying eyes off when parked (even when parked in a secure area). :028:

I've had my Stormex cover for 3 years now, excellent cover, my biffer has an extended screen and it covers the bike all the way to the ground.

Thanks for the Replies

BUT

What size cover are you using ?

Has the bike got panniers ? my one hasn't !

Have you a topbox and do you keep it on with the cover fitted .

I have a XL Oxford Stormex and I have Honda panniers fitted but no top box, an MRA screen and it covers to the ground.
Not sure it would with a top box on though.
Overall I would rate this cover 11 out of 10, totally water proof, it has a really soft fleece liner so no scratches to paint work, good security holes, marked with red stitching, front and rear and if you have one, windows for solar chargers too.
Not the cheapest but in this case you do get what you pay for.
I`ll get a photo and put it on at the weekend.
