Ride round the Wiltshire White Horses Saturday 13th August 2016.

Yes it was a great ride and the pace was just right for me too. Thanks to Josiah for organising it so meticulously.  Never seen so many white horses in a day lol.
Lunch stop at Divines cafe was great too and pleased to say my journey 'across country' to Cheddar (well avoiding the M4) was enjoyable albeit lengthy. But at least I got there in time for the beer and curry lol

Re did most of the White Horses yesterday Thursday 29/7/2021, had to miss out the Broad town and Hackpen Hill ones, but it was a good ride, the surprise was the Pewsey horse was well defined while the Devises horse was loosing it's definition. The Westbury hose was being cleaned by people roped up.

My only question is 'what happened to my invite', assume it got lost in the post?!
P.S. still have the mk1 biffer but hardly ever ride it these days...

Good to see you are still about, I'm only just starting feel my way back onto this forum. For medical reasons I had to sell my CBF and buy a Tracer 50 to 60 kg lighter. I do have a few routes, but struggle to ride at the moment, also if possible I tend to avoid riding at the weekends.

That's good that you're getting back to biking - to my shame the bikes are just museum pieces and have been for a couple of years now - one, a CBR600 is in need of a lot of TLC (suspected plugs and/or HT lead issues).  My trusty CBF1000 is working fine & I keep it insured & MOT'd and the battery on a float charger.

Alas, hardly ever ridden - change of circumstances and a girlfriend who's got no interest in bikes 

Although we will be down in Wiltshire in a week or so and hope to revisit Avebury and maybe some of the Horses!
