    Thanks for your advice guys, I now have 2 working spare keys so more peace of mind knowing that even if I lose one or it breaks I still have a backup...

    As documented, the actual programming operation is a piece of cake and takes a matter of minutes (or seconds once you're used to it); the only hairy moment was discovering that the locksmith hadn't cut the keys properly 1st attempt so I went back with the bike 2nd time around to make sure no errors 2nd time around!   :152:
