At 150 kph was like sitting in the living room ...but move you head 6" to either side and it's a wind tunnel.
Makes you wonder why Honda would go and change it on the 1300?
Form over function I guess.

Yep - cops that rode both generally preferred the ST1100 over the 1300.

Got the Vario screen and it certainly helps. I was riding into a howling North Wind so a bit hard to assess.
The taller one I'd prefer to have a bit of choice but something a couple inches wider would help. We'll see in calmer conditions.

Back on a 2008 biffer and was annoyed with the buffeting

Best $50 evah. Common complaint on the cbf1000 and this fixes it.
Likely work on a lot of bikes,
Seems identical to expensive MRA Vario but waaaay less money. Fiddly to assemble but worth the effort. Extended my touring range big time. I avoided this route before as way too expensive and never sure it would work. It does and it's cheap
Looks a bit ugly but the quiet is worth it.

Just a follow up ...this thing works the charm but it lost a part on the highway ...another rider had the same thing happen - I think it is an avoidable situation but caveat emptor. At least Amazon allows returns.
