Why yes it is  :046:  The fuse was a bear to rock out but patience paid off. Plugged the new one and all well it seems. Now just to fit the battery cage and fuse holder....since the Shorai is oriented differently even getting the positive lead on with the cover was a bit of a trick. The battery is soooo light and small tho that it finally sorted. I'll get the mechanic to clean that relay when he does the plugs.

The outer cage I'll wait till my back unkinks or my bicycle mechanic staff takes pity.v :164:

Thanks for help Bifferman.v :031:

Thanks

Was a good learning experience and I'm more comfortable with the machine as a result.

Had a lovely ride today up to my coffee place - about 1/2 hour each day ....machine felt very sweet and the truly INSTANT start was a treat.

The ONLY downside to this bike is the short fuel range.....the minute it gets to a quarter tank left it seems to plummet.  :191:

Very happy to see that it all worked out in the end.

Re the short fuel range: I can manage about 300 km/tank and that's plenty enough for me. After about 2 hours I need to get off the bike anyway to rest my tired buttocks, even with the added air-filled seat cushion. My butt ain't what it used to be. ("That's what she said!")

Still, there are places in Canada that I dare not go without a spare jerrycan.
Old enough to have seen it all, heard it all, done it all. Just can't remember it all.
