CBF 1000 ST 2011 service manual
on: 29 March, 2012, 09:38:59 PM
Hi everybody.
I bought my CBF 1000 ST last March 2011 (MKII?) but I'm struggling in finding out its own service manual: of course I searched trough our forum, but I didn't find what I'm looking for. My only achievements were "old" service manuals about previous models.

Did I miss anything? In that case, sorry to double a request/topic.
In any case, could anyone help me, thank you?

Best greetings from Italy.

Montecristo, sounds like you're not certain whether you have a mk1 or 2. The biggest giveaway is the silencers. Mk1s have two silencers, mk2s have a single silencer.
Take my advice or not, I really don't care. I'm just telling you what I think and would do on my bike.

Service Manual I read as the Service manual, not the Owners Handbook.  Perhaps Montichristo could confirm but it would seem to me unlikely he doesn't have the Owners handbook.

To the best of my knowledge Honda have NOT produced a hard copy of the MK2 Shop Service Manual for purchase by the pubic and nobody has come forth with a 'stolen' on-line version yet.  Was in touch with Kurt the other day (Kurt was the first to fine the MK1 Service Manual on line :047: ) and he is on the look out but nothing yet.

My mistake, the owners `manual` has `service` information in it, put the two together and you get....... :134: :005:

Hi everybody and tks for yr replies.

To better specify my meaning:

- my CBF1000 has one silencer only, on the right side, so my understanding is that's an mk2

- "service manual" for me it's NOT the owner booklet. Despite the owner handbook keeps some servicing advice, the service manual - in my meaning - is the book teaching and displaying all the technical activities to be carried out with you bike

Hope what above will be helpful and, again....could anybody help me?

Tks again and best rgds?

Great site/forum this! Unfortunately, CBF it's not very popular in Italy and despite a few clubs, you actually feel alone driving (and loving!) your beloved bike!

Yes, that's the Mk2. The service manual for that machine has not, as far as I'm aware, surfaced online.

Hi Guys,

is there an electronic version of the MkII service manual around? can anyone share a link? I have the Haynes version but would prefer the offical Honda version if anyone has it.

cheers
