Central Massif and South West France

Stayed at this place last year http://ridersrest.net/. Mix of bunkhouse and bedrooms, so good for groups or a few friends. The hosts are English and will make you very welcome. The food was superb and as much beer and wine as you can drink. Tony the guy that runs the place led our group for a small fee as he knows the area like the back of his hand. The area is fantastic, really good roads and lots of places to sight see. I cannot enthuse enough about this place well worth a visit.

I'll third that!!...also going back, have some unfinished business (Millau) to sort
It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

With all the snow this last few weeks I have finally had the time to sit down and compile all my routes and create a DiY tour e-book based from Ridersrest...

The E-Book has turn by turn directions for those who prefer paper and download links to satellite navigation files for those who use Garmin (Mapsource) and Tom Tom (Itinery Files) or if you would just like to see the sites using Google Earth to plan their routes you will find them all in this E-Book.

I have even documented an Orienteering day (bike of course) in the Haute Dordogne Gorges.

Example can be seen at DiY Self Guided Touring Routes

Ride safe...
