Hurry up then, I want to see this hugger :oldie:
I was asked for an 8 character password, so I chose Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

It's done girl.
Please! - No more hassle.

This looks as though it's maybe better than the Red Fox (better mounting) or the Powerbronze (better chain coverage), but I'll reserve judgement until I know from Kev how much oil throw he's getting (BTW - I don't see any evidence of a Scottoiler, so the throw may be less overall anyway).

Does anyone know what a white one will look like in the skidmarx version?

What would you go for, white bike......black or white hugger?

Why stop at black or white?

I think I'd go with the black - even with a white bike.
Reason being, it blends in better with the existing white over black colour scheme and compliments the effect of the black swingarm, original chainguard, wheel, etc. (and even the tyre).
Only reason to go with a white hugger is perhaps if you added a white lower fairing, in which case you've shifted the colour bias a lot further towards white trimmed with a little black, if that makes sense...

Hi Rose,

I think that the black will go with any coloured bike as the standard chainguard is black on all biffers I believe?

Also if I remember correctly although I could be wrong, Alansh has a white hugger and I seem to remember him saying that it tends to show the dirt quite easily!

If I'm wrong I'm sure that he will be the first to correct me!

I am still deciding on wether to fit the skidmarx hugger, the last one i had fitted, the rear edge was eaten away with stone hits and it had to be replaced I.G., mind you it was within a 1/3 of an inch from the tyre :084:
This one looks far enough off tyre to avoid this.

What a good forum this is. I'm in the market for a hugger for my Mk 2 and the excellent photos and the description that it goes down below the top of the swinging arm is what I'm looking for. Mine is a white bike but I think black is the option to go for. Going to the NEC next week so Skidmarx may be offering some deals. We'll see.

smart, and does its job, :152: :152:
