HID's installed
« on: 13 August, 2011, 04:48:58 PM »
Finally installed my HID's after many months of procrastination due to not wanting to fuss about with the fairings and all I can say is  :005: ! These things are unbelievable. Once I figured the fairing out, the actual installation of the lights is a breeze and the difference is, well, night and day. Easily the best mod we can do to these or any bike. Thanks to RevKen and Bifferman for pushing the value of this mod  :028:

Hey Airgar, did you source the HIDs here or overseas? What brand did you use?

I got them from a friend here in Canada who works for an auto parts distributer out of Quebec. I have another friend who went the e-Bay route and bought a set from China. Last night we were riding some very scetchy back roads and he went dark on low beam. moral of the story, get the HID's, don't but cheap ones....
