Added to my GT: Combined hugger/chain guard, front mudguard extender - both Pyramid I think (definitely first item), both score 4/5 as I think a bit more length would improve performance (ooo-er missus!); BrakeAway mechanical cruise control - 5/5; Palmer adjustable screen brackets - 5/5; Givi screen - 5/5

Have you had a bad experience with one ?

I have one on mine. it looks good, thats where it ends,i get exactly the same rubbish on my shock as before but now have a hugger bit at the bottom to trough the c--p,when driving in the very wet the hugger washes me chain clean, annoying when on a long ride and you have to journey back with it jingling in your ears  :232: its just too short by far, thats it rave over. :015:

Results so far show the #1 most popular accessory is the hugger.
This might have been knocked off the top spot by Top Box and Panniers, but the fact many of you have the pre-equipped GTs has probably skewed the figures for these items.
The Pyramid Hugger is seen as a better item than the Honda model, although nobody's jumping over the moon with any of them except maybe my1000cbf1300.
Next up at #2 are Heated Grips. Honda wins this by a head from Oxford since all users think they are exceptional (and so they should be for the price).
In position #3 is a Screen Upgrade. There's a fair variety of options available for this, although the CalSci and MRA adjustable versions seem to be the most popular, albeit by a small margin.
Position #4 is taken by  the Top Box and as previously mentioned, I strongly suspect this would sit at number one if Honda didn't market a fully loaded touring version of the Biffer. I believe the slightly larger Givi version just edges out the Honda model, but it's only obvious if you take into account the matching panniers from both stables.
Fender extenders take position #5 with the Pyramid model being most popular.
Again, nobody except Gumby 1000 appears to be ecstatic with them, they just believe they're a good extra. And by the way, Gumby 1000's is a Powerbronze model, not a Pyramid version.
Position #6 is held by Panniers. Please see my earlier comments vis-a-vis Top Boxes, to see how I interpret the situation on this item.
Position #7 is held by Knuckle Deflectors, dominated by satisfied users with the Honda variety (not sure who else produces them since the data is a little incomplete for this item).
Position #8 is taken by Radiator Guards with the Beowulf appearing to be the most popular and also to be highly recommended.
Position #9 is taken by OEM exhausts. Various models have been bought from Blueflame, Akrapovic and Beowulf. Not sure if use of these is driven by 'drop damage' or simply that the owner wants a better sound or performance. The Blueflame models are marginally more popular, but there remains a question of VFM due to high pricing.
Finally and perhaps a little surprisingly, position #10 is held by the Tankbag, the best of which is the VFM Aldi version (when available).

Quite honestly, I'm a little surprised at the results. I expected to see more cruise controls and certainly more crash bobbins.
One thing's for sure though, there's a diverse set of Biffer owners out there, yet muck thrown about by the rear wheel, cold hands in the winter months and less than perfect wind turbulence management are driving the most changes to the stock Biffer.
Come on Honda, at least sort these top three without an increase in the base price…

Mirror Wideners, they do have a downside in filtering but for me 5/5

Hyperpro progressive front springs and rear damper 5/5

Honda heated  grips well they work but I have no comparison so ?/5

Honda knuckle deflectors well they do work but but not massively and the price is OTT so 3/5

    Honda top Box 5/5

Honda GT panniers with inner bags well they do not have 2 locks one for locking on the bike the other for opening so 4/5

Honda genuine hugger well they work for me but others are not happy the damper clean but you do get dirt on the top of the hugger 4/5

Storm 2 tyres I know they were flamed in an article ok for me but I have not tried others so 4/5 I am tempted to say 5/5

Bespoke Viking Vinyl modified seat with gel pads 5/5

Standard Screen 1/5 the Givi well it could be better 4/5

Pegs well if you are tall and have a tall instep MFW round offset pegs 5/5

    R & G Crash Bungs 4/5

And as of this weekend a tank protector as my new Held jacket has been rubbing on it  :003: 5/5
One last item not asked a made to measure jacket from Hideout Leathers  :028: 10/10
